Iraq: and so the spin begins....

"Iraq had a weapons program," Bush said yesterday after a meeting of his Cabinet, the first time the body had met since the war started. "Intelligence throughout the decade showed they had a weapons program. I am absolutely convinced with time we'll find out that they did have a weapons program."



Last time I looked, they went to war because Iraq had weapons of mass destruction which could be unleashed against us poor unsuspecting westerners at any given moment.



At some point this week, probably just after those senior inspectors said those trailers could not in all seriousness be used as microbiological production facilities, it changed into a weapons program, which could be anything, even a couple of notes on a piece of paper.



Riiiiiight!!!



Looking at how gullible Americans are, he will probably get away with it too!
